DEZ Games is an independent board game and card game developer owned by genius mastermind Jason George.  D.E.Z. are the first initials of the owner’s children,  The horizontal bars on the capital letter E represent the owner’s children as the driving force behind his creativity, and also are intended to be reminiscent of three cards in a deck.

DEZ Games developed and published the card game PAH! which is inspired by Dutch Blitz, and designed to be played without the aid of verbal gameplay cues.  Jason’s parents are both legally deaf.  He noticed a significant gap in the gaming market for games that the deaf community can learn to play without worrying about verbal gameplay cues, and also without having to put down their hand of cards to use sign language.
